A scholarly or legitimate journal is a periodical that contains articles written by experts in a particular field of study. The articles are intended to be read by other experts or students of the field and are usually much more advanced than the articles found in popular magazines. Many lecturers assign research papers or projects that require students to use articles in scholarly and legitimate journals. This list offers tips to help distinguish scholarly and legitimate journals from other periodicals.

MyCite provide an access to bibliographic and citation information from scholarly literature published in Malaysian journals. As we known, there are 46 active journals titles from the various discipline of research published by UiTM Press. As of 1st March 2021, twenty-five in Malaysian Citation Index (MyCite). UiTM Journals are categorized in four subject areas of (i) Arts & Humanities, (ii) Business, Management & Accounting, (iii) Science, Technology & Engineering, (iv) Social Science.

MyJurnal is a online system used by Citation and Infometric Division (formely known Malaysia Citation Centre (MCC)) to collect and index all the Malaysian journals. MyJurnal's main objectives are to:-
increase access to the contents of Malaysian journals to the global community; and
improve the visibility of contents, hence, encouraging usage and generating citations to articles published.
UiTM Journals encompasses a total of 46 active journals titles from the various discipline of research published by UiTM Press. As of for now forty- six in had registered in MyJurnal. MyJurnal contains bibliographic data and full text contents of articles published in refereed scholarly journals in Malaysia, in various disciplines such as Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Medical & Health Sciences, Sciences dan Social Sciences.

There are currently 75 journal titles that can be access by all UiTM User. All of these journals can be access through library portal at https://library.uitm.edu.my/en/collection
